Join our Creation Encounter team as we explore the northwest corner of Oregon. Our guides will share evidence of the Bible’s worldwide flood and strong testimony of an ice age and how it fits in the Bible’s timeline. Howard. The 15 min. ride lifts you 3,700 vertical feet to a commanding view of Wallowa Lake and the region. We will visit an unusual site where quartzite rock originated. To reach this spot, you will need to hike 2 miles one way on an easy to moderate trail. For a close and personal look, you will need to leave the trail and scramble up loose rock for about 100 yards.
