This will be a NEW adventure for Creation encounter participants and will include a bike tour of the beautiful scenery of the Deschutes River, along with wildflowers, birds and other wildlife as we bicycle a few miles on an old abandoned railroad bed.  some moderate hills may make this trip appropriate for 4-5 grade kids and up.  The interesting history of the railroads in the Deschutes River Canyon  will be covered as well as the geology of the area. 

Meet at the southern-most parking lot at Deschutes River Crossing State Park at 9 AM on April 12, 2025.  Bring a sack lunch and adequate water. Come prepared for variable weather!
