About the event
This is a custom trip for the youth group from Comunidad de Gracia.
We begin with several short stops, and end with a short hike. We'll collect cobbles transported 400 miles by Noah's Flood and find petrified wood. In some places the wood is only charcoaled and is we can light it on fire, though it is claimed to be 15-16 million years old! On this trip students will handle "rock solid" evidence for a young earth and a global Flood and we discuss why this is important for our faith and our confidence in the historical accuracy of Scripture. Along the way we usually encounter amazing plants and animals that defy evolution and declare the glory of God through his intricate handiwork.
We'll meet in Gresham, and carpool down to the stops in the gorge. Each student will receive a creation field notebook of the Gorge.
