On this favorite family outing, Creation Encounter investigates several key stops and short hikes where we will collect cobbles transported 400 miles by Noah's Flood and find petrified wood. In some localities, this partially petrified wood is only charcoaled, allowing us to set it afire, even though it is claimed to be 15-16 million years old! On this trip, students will handle "rock solid" evidence for a young earth and a global Flood as we discuss why this is important for our faith and our confidence in the historical accuracy of scripture. Along the way, we encounter a variety of flowers and other amazing plants and animals that defy evolution.
