About the event
This event has been canceled and/or postponed until further notice; see our event status page.
On this favorite family outing, we take several short hikes and collect cobbles transported 400 miles by Noah's Flood. Along the way, we will investigate fossil wood, which in some places is merely charcoalized and remains burnable despite an alleged age exceeding 15-16 million years old! Students will handle "rock solid" evidence for a young earth and a global flood while we discuss why this is important for our faith and our confidence in the historical accuracy of Scripture. We will also encounter a variety of flowers and other amazing plants and animals that defy evolution.
We will meet at 9:00 am between Starbucks and Hood River Inn near the Hood River Bridge. For day trips, we suggest a donation of $25 per family (or $15 for the individual) which can be payed in person…
